Protect. Empower. Strengthen.
The Richland County Neighborhood Improvement Program was established by County Council to coordinate and fund neighborhood master plans and improvement projects in Richland County. The program is a partnership between County government and neighborhood organizations.
Our vision is a healthy and happy community of high performing schools, quality infrastructure, parks and trails, and viable, thriving neighborhoods and business corridors. Sustaining this desired quality of life requires coordination between many facets of the community: neighborhood organizations, businesses, schools, local government, etc. Thus, NIP’s mission is to coordinate and empower citizens with the resources necessary to achieve and sustain healthy and happy neighborhoods.
