Residents can get an inside look at the recently renovated Richland Library North Main facility, which is the first completed remodeling project in a series of upgrades at several library locations. This special community event includes a tour and presentations by library staff about new amenities and programs.
Remodeling of the 10,000-square-foot building made room for a children’s puppet theater, a large public meeting space, a Wi-fi bar, an outdoor programming area and much more.
This event is part of a Richland 101: Special Edition series. The next special edition spotlights the County’s new Decker Center on Decker Boulevard at 6 p.m. Oct. 26. Richland 101 is a free annual course that teaches participants the basics of Richland County Government services and operations. The next course is scheduled for spring 2017.
